PaVE: the papillomavirus episteme

The PAVE Reference Genomes (HPV_REF) are based on sequence records from the NCBI database and have been re-annotated for uniformity. Several of the original NCBI sequences were revised in PaVE. The revision criteria are described in Van Doorslaer et al., 2012. Links to a detailed description of each revision can be found in the reference table below.
